About the artists:

Catherine Delmas Lett, is a French artist who, after spending 8 years in the jungles of Malaysia, now lives in Singapore.  Her artistic career is rich and constantly evolving. Trained at the prestigious Parisian school Penninghen, specializing in art and interior architecture, she has devoted 25 years of her life to painting. Her fluid style metamorphoses according to her travels, adapting with subtlety to the landscapes she encounters: desert, city or forest.

Melanie Bass is American. She works as an animation producer. She spent several years in South India with her husband, originally from Chennai. They both returned to the USA for the imminent birth of their baby daughter. Nevertheless, she took the time to illustrate part of this book.

Fabienne Manele is a lecturer and author. For the past thirty years, she has worked in the world’s greatest museums and written about her travels and discoveries. 

Catherine and Fabienne met 10 years ago in Qatar, where they worked on an exhibition and courses. This privileged professional relationship led to a true friendship. Mélanie and Fabienne met in November 2022 in Chennai and quickly decided to combine their visions in a book combining writing and illustrations.
