BORROW AND RENEW
The loan duration is 3 weeks (1 week for new items)
You may renew your loans a maximum of 2 times except new items, DVDs and items under reservation, by phone or email.
Only Alliance Française of Madras’s members are allowed to borrow resources.
A late fee is payable for overdue items.
There is a replacement fee for lost or damaged items or the option to buy an exact replacement.
LIBRARY TOURS FOR SCHOOLS
Enhance your French educational journey at our multimedia library! Find out about French culture with fun interactive games and improve your French with themed workshops. The programme will be planned with teachers according to the age and level of the students.

ONLINE AUDIO RESOURCES
La médiathèque has subscriptions to magazines and books with online audio, such as Bien-Dire, Mes premières belles histoires, etc.
Members of Alliance Francaise’ library may access the accompanying audio by logging on to the online library portal with their online account.

CULTURETHÈQUE
Culturethèque is the online library of the French cultural network. Alliance Française members have access to thousands of documents 24/7, from their computers, tablets or smartphones. Read your favourite magazines, e-books and comics, view concerts and shows and introduce children to the French language through dedicated programmes.

VR CASQUE AND PLAYSTATION
AF Madras offers a unique Virtual reality experience which is absolutely FREE for Members. There are sites from Paris to see, like a boat ride over the Seine, a visit to the Opera house etc, along with games for all to enjoy.
Here is also where we host the Playstation corner for our students and members to enjoy for FREE.
