Rent Our Venues

Édouard Michelin Auditorium is an excellent venue to rent for rehearsals, performances, lectures, conferences, films, plays, concerts, and musicals.

The auditorium has a seating capacity of 120 – seats + 40 extra ground sitting cushions.

Notes:

1. The charges of the venue include basic services such as air-conditioning, 2 dressing rooms, standard audio system, and a standard lighting system.

2. Venue hire package does not include any technical crew, operator, or ushers. Hirers must use Alliance Française of Madras’s technical crew / ushers for set-up, performance, and dismantling of venue equipment.

3. Should any equipment or property on the premises be broken, damaged, or lost, or should the premises be damaged in any way, the Hirer shall pay for repairs to make good such damage(s) and/or for any loss arising therefrom.

4. Alliance Française of Madras reserves the right to amend the above rental rates herein without prior notice.

5.  Institution Closure Time: The institution, including the auditorium, will be closed at 10:30 PM. The client must vacate the auditorium and premises before the closure time.

6. In the event of a cancellation, please be aware that 20 % cancellation charges will be applied on the total rental amount + maintenance.

7. No Refund for Last-Minute Cancellations: Under any circumstances any cancellation made within 12 days prior to the scheduled event will not be eligible for a refund.

8. Any request for early access to the auditorium or late departure beyond the agreed-upon rental period must be made in advance and it will be subjected to additional charges.

ESPACE24 is a space that is open to artists and students to exhibit their artwork. AF Madras hosts exhibitions from many great artists throughout the year.

AF Madras Terrace is suitable for hosting Musical and Dance performances or intimate gatherings.
