This year, FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE celebrates its 40th anniversary. For the last 40 years in France, 21st June is not just the longest day of the year but also the day of the Fête de la Musique. Created in France in 1982, FDLM has been taken up by countries all over the world to celebrate a common love for music.

Fête de la Musique 40th year anniversary – Call for AFM Students & ex AFM Students.

Every year the Alliance Française of Madras celebrates Fête de la musique and offers an open stage for AFM students. Stage will be available on Sunday 19th June 2022 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Participants should be in groups and at least one AFM student (outsider’s allowed) | Duration of the performance max. of 4 mins. Participants are requested to bring their own instruments. Drum kit is available at AFMadras.
For Karaoke, the participants should bring their USB/CD. Deadline to register: 8 pm | 16th June 2022.
