A bundle over his shoulder, a suitcase in his hand, a vagabond presents himself in all his simplicity. One morning his simple life changes when he stumbles upon a strange little box which, as it turns out, offers him everything that he desires. Once the box is opened, nothing is the same anymore. A new world opens up and the vagabond finds himself thrown into the middle of a host of characters.

Pacotille is a visual, musical and poetic play with handheld life-size puppets made from old newspaper. The characters’ stories unravel as they meet the actor on stage.

The concept of the play is to use simple materials like old newspaper and second hand clothes to create something that isn’t fixed; which allows everyone to retain their own perspective and to lose themselves in their own dreams.
