Synopsis :

Violette Leduc, an illegitimate child born in the early 20^th century, meets Simone de Beauvoir in the post-War years, in St-Germain-de-Prés. An intense relationship springs up between both women and Violet seeks emancipation through writing while Simone is convinced that she controls the destiny of an extraordinary writer.
